Great place to visit! We spent around 1 hour there plus went for coffee nearby and came back for creation of our own perfume extra 30 mins. It's all around Morocco main scents used for local parfume production and the whole process explained in detail. We enjoyed very much. You get to smell local main scents, there is around 50 of them and can create your own parfume if wish. Definitely worth visiting! :)

Not a perfume fan, I mean of course I buy it to smell nice but not going to a museum to smell different perfume scent 😂so my Asian friends went inside I got there late tho, so there was not need sir ding 50 MAD for that, plus they didn’t really enjoy it the advised I don’t pay to come inside. So while waiting for them, the receptionist allowed me to go inside to meet them without paying🥺❤️that’s why I am giving a 4star cos that was really nice. But my friends were done so I only took pictures and left. If you are a perfume fan, exaggeration on HUGE FAN, I recommend this place.

Small and hidden place but with lovely smell of the perfumes. Is very nice to see how the perfume process is made, also you have the opportunity for 400 DM to create your own perfume, but the perfume it self needs to be pay separately. But if your around and find this place give it a try.

I love parfumes, so the visit here was a must. Even if I saw negative reviews. After all o understanding perfumes is like learning to appreciate a painting, and this is a nice place to start understanding. Only pity, first floor is mainly devited to morocco essences. To enjoy it most, take your time to read as much information panels as you can on this floor. Thiis will create the right understanding for the best experience of this nuseum: in the garden there is a room where with a very competent employee you can smell literally tenths of essences and learn to appreciate how much making perfumes is a true art. No doubt I found here an enchanting version of the two essence I love most: vetiver and cedre. Of course a bought one little bottle made in front of me. This cost me a pricey 240dh, but the essence is superb and after all this is a price to compare with european perfume boutiques.

A very lovely museum right in the heart of Marrakech. It only cost 50 MAD to get in and there's a lot to see. It's a road arranged in two levels where you can learn the history and the techniques about how perfume is made in Morocco. At the lower level there's also a workshop where you can make your own fragrances. It can get quite expensive but if you get the eau de toilette it's only 240 MAD and it's honestly worth it!

A beautiful little museum run by the lovely Amina. Small and perfectly formed, it is a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle, and totally off the tourist trail. Over two levels in a converted Riad, the exhibition takes you through the history of perfume in Morocco and the Middle East. My only regret is that I didn't book the private perfume making session. One of my favourite experiences in Marrakech. 50DH entry, worth every penny. Thank you, Amina.

Seriously if you visited nowhere else in Marrakesh this living museum of oils and essences will immerse you so thoroughly in the sensory magic of Morocco, the desert and the North West of Africa that you will come away knowing the essence of the place. Its rarely the case I say that you will never forget a visit, but I say it for the museum of perfume.

Great museum! Small and interesting. Staff was really nice and explained a lot in the section were you could try many if the concentrated scents as well as some Moroccan made perfumes as well (some were really nice — great souvenir or treat to yourself in my opinion). As an overall “museum experience” I enjoyed it much more than the other museums like the Marrakech museum for example. It’s not as huge as let’s say the world museum of perfume in Grasse, France, but if interested in perfumes definitely worth a visit.
